Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineering Supervisor with an electrical background to join our team at Swissotel Doha Corniche Park Towers Doha. As an Engineering Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing engineering projects, managing team members, and ensuring the efficient operation of our facilities.

Lead and mentor a team of engineers, technicians, and support staff
Develop and implement engineering strategies to improve operational efficiency
Oversee daily operations, including work order management and project updates
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
Manage and optimize equipment operation and maintenance schedules
Monitor and analyze utility consumption and implement conservation measures
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals
Prepare and present detailed reports on project status, performance metrics, and resource allocation
Identify areas for process improvement and implement innovative solutions
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members

Qualifications

Licensed Mechanical or Electrical Engineer

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a hotel or similar facility

Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team

Strong project management skills and experience in overseeing multiple projects simultaneously

In-depth knowledge of engineering principles, safety regulations, and industry best practices

Proficiency in engineering software and tools relevant to facility management

Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Experience with swimming pool equipment operation and water treatment (preferred)

Familiarity with chiller systems and utility management (preferred)
