Chiller Plant Technician

Job Summary As a Chiller Plant Technician you will be responsible for the operation maintenance and repair of chiller plants to ensure the efficient cooling of buildings and facilities Job Responsibility Operate and maintain chiller plants to ensure proper cooling of facilities Conduct regular inspections troubleshooting and repairs of chiller plant equipment Monitor and adjust temperature controls water levels and pressure settings Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning coils changing filters and lubricating parts Diagnose and repair electrical mechanical and refrigeration components of chiller systems Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment Candidate Requirements High school diploma or equivalent relevant certification or vocational training is a plus Proven experience as a Chiller Plant Technician or in a similar role Solid understanding of chiller plant operations maintenance and repair techniques Ability to read technical manuals schematics and blueprints Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills Excellent attention to detail and safety protocols Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions Good communication and teamwork skills
