Monitor and control sewage treatment plant operations through the SCADA system in real-time.
Track operating parameters such as flow rates, tank levels, pump status, blower performance, chemical dosing, and system alarms.
Coordinate with field operators and maintenance teams to respond promptly to equipment faults, process deviations, or alarms.
Adjust setpoints and process parameters as per operational requirements or supervisor instructions.
Record all plant data, shift logs, incidents, and operator actions in the SCADA logbook or digital system.
Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports from SCADA data for internal and regulatory use.
Maintain backup of SCADA data and ensure system uptime.
Support troubleshooting of SCADA-related issues and coordinate with automation / IT teams for system updates or failures.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the control room area.
Follow plant standard operating procedures (SOPs) and comply with all HSE policies
Education : Diploma in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, or related field. Training in SCADA / PLC systems is an advantage.
Experience : 3–5 years of experience as a SCADA Operator, preferably in a sewage or water treatment plant.
Technical Skills : Proficiency in operating SCADA systems (e.g., Schneider, Siemens, ABB, GE, or others). Basic understanding of sewage treatment plant processes and equipment. Ability to analyze system alarms, trends, and process behavior.
