Senior Project Engineer – Carbon Capture

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to lead the detailed engineering phase of a Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) project. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in large-scale industrial projects, particularly in carbon capture, petrochemical, refinery or LNG Facilities environments , and will be responsible for coordinating multidisciplinary engineering efforts to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions aligned with decarbonization goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the detailed engineering scope of a carbon capture project, ensuring alignment with environmental targets and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with process, mechanical, electrical, civil, and instrumentation teams to develop integrated engineering solutions.
• Oversee the development of engineering deliverables including PFDs, P&IDs, equipment specifications, and layout drawings.
• Ensure compliance with international standards (e.g., ISO, API, ASME) and carbon capture-specific guidelines.
• Interface with technology licensors, EPC contractors, and client representatives to ensure technical integrity and project alignment.
• Support FEED and detailed design phases, including HAZOP reviews, constructability assessments, and value engineering.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with procurement and construction teams to ensure smooth transition from design to execution.
• Promote safety, sustainability, and innovation throughout the project lifecycle.
