الوصف الوظيفيMinimum 5 years of relevant experience as a Mechanical Quantity Surveyor. Bachelors Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, or a Diploma in Quantity Surveying. Proven experience working with contractor firms on infrastructure projects (e.g., utilities, pumping stations, MEP for roads, etc.). Strong understanding of contract conditions, cost control, and procurement processes. Proficiency in QS software / tools and MS Office. Must be locally available in Qatar with a valid QID. Must be able to join immediately upon selection.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare and review mechanical quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates.
- Assist in the preparation and evaluation of tender documents and subcontractor packages.
- Monitor and control project costs, budgets, and cash flow.
- Review and validate subcontractor and supplier invoices and claims.
- Manage and assess variations, change orders, and cost impacts.
- Participate in site inspections and progress tracking.
- Prepare monthly progress valuations and final accounts.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, procurement teams, and clients.
