Overview of the role Manage the MEP design review and the site inspection for all shops and kiosks during their design & fit-out stages to ensure compliance of designs with the Mall MEP Manual and the Egyptian Code; and to achieve their brand vision. Review all required changes from leasing, development and tenants. This post forms part of the Tenant Coordination Team within the Mall Management.

Responsibilities

Negotiate with tenants’ designers during the design review phase.

Monitor the tenant’s contractors’ fit-out progress versus their approved designs and submitted time schedule.

Provide technical support and MEP solutions required for tenants during the design and fit-out process.

Support tenant coordinators in all MEP technicalities and in monitoring tenant contractors in relation to Mall MEP requirements.

Study and review all required changes from leasing, development and tenants.

Resolve snags when inspecting fit-out work on site and produce a snag list within days of shop opening.

Required skills to be successful Job‑Specific Skills

Arabic and English proficiency is a must.

Professional skills in AutoCAD.

Understanding of project management skills.

Awareness of NFPA code.

Behavioral Competencies

Ability to work under high pressure and carry out simultaneous multi-tasks.

Self‑motivated with high organizational and communication skills.

Highly committed and up to the company’s code of ethics.

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge B. Sc. in Engineering (Mechanics)

Minimum Experience 3‑5 years of mechanics experience with at least 2 years in a Retail Design & Review position, with enough site supervision experience to provide solutions when required and to produce snag lists for final inspections.
