Piping Designer

We are seeking a skilled Piping Designer to develop detailed piping layouts and drawings for our engineering projects The ideal candidate will collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure accurate and efficient piping designs that meet industry standards and project specifications Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed piping layouts drawings and schematics using CAD software e g AutoCAD PDMS MicroStation Review and interpret process flow diagrams PFDs and piping and instrumentation diagrams P IDs Develop isometric drawings spool drawings and material takeoffs Ensure piping designs comply with industry standards safety regulations and client specifications Coordinate with engineering procurement and construction teams to resolve design issues Revise drawings based on feedback and design changes Maintain accurate documentation of designs revisions and project files Support site activities by providing piping design support during installation and commissioning Qualifications Skills Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering Civil Engineering or related field Proven experience in piping design within oil gas chemical power or industrial plants Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD PDMS MicroStation or equivalent Good understanding of piping codes and standards ASME ASTM API etc Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Excellent communication skills
