Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update the company’s asset register and ensure all assets are properly tagged and documented.
  • Conduct regular asset audits (physical verification and reconciliation) in coordination with relevant departments.
  • Monitor the lifecycle of assets, including acquisition, transfer, maintenance, depreciation, and disposal.
  • Coordinate with the procurement and finance teams to ensure accurate asset capitalization and depreciation records.
  • Prepare asset reports for management and auditors as required.
  • Support in budgeting and forecasting related to asset replacement and maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with company asset policies, Qatar Labour Law, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with external vendors, maintenance teams, and auditors for asset-related matters.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements for efficient asset management and cost control.
  • Assist in implementing and managing asset management software systems.

Qualifications And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in asset management, inventory control, or a related function (preferably in Qatar or GCC).
  • Strong understanding of fixed asset accounting principles and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Excellent Excel and data management skills.
  • Good communication and coordination abilities.
  • Knowledge of Qatar-specific asset management and documentation practices is an advantage.
