Project Manager HV (400KV)

Our client is well reputed EPC in the Power generation sector, as a Project Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end management, execution, and successful delivery of high-voltage power transmission projects. This includes overseeing design, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and budgetary standards. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for 400KV transmission projects. Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality and performance requirements. Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, and government authorities to ensure project alignment. Manage communications and expectations with all stakeholders. Oversee design, engineering, and technical aspects of 400KV systems, including substations, transformers, and overhead transmission lines. Ensure compliance with technical standards, industry best practices, and local regulations. Coordinate with site teams to monitor construction activities and progress. Address challenges and risks during the construction phase. Lead multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, technicians, and contractors. Foster a collaborative work environment and provide leadership. Enforce strict adherence to HSE standards and protocols. Conduct risk assessments and ensure mitigation plans are in place. Monitor project expenditures to ensure they remain within approved budgets. Optimize the allocation of resources and manage procurement activities. Conduct regular quality checks and inspections. Ensure all works meet specified standards and certifications. Prepare regular progress reports for senior management and stakeholders. Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, technical specifications, and as-built drawings. Oversee system testing and commissioning. Ensure smooth handover of completed projects to clients. Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus. Minimum of 8-10 years in project management, with at least 5 years in high-voltage transmission projects (400KV or above). Proven track record in delivering large-scale EPC projects. Strong understanding of 400KV transmission systems, substations, and HV equipment. Proficient in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, Primavera P6, MS Project).
