Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Store Keeper to manage our inventory, stock levels, and supply chain logistics. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking materials and supplies while maintaining a clean and organized storage area. Accuracy, efficiency, and strong organizational skills are essential in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods and materials.
- Ensure proper storage of inventory items, adhering to safety and organizational standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Issue materials from the store as per requisition.
- Perform regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify management of low stock or surplus.
- Ensure proper labeling and tagging of items for easy identification.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the store area.
- Coordinate with procurement and other departments for inventory planning.
- Handle returns and replacements of defective or damaged items.
- Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
