Our luxury hotel in Ar-Ruwais, Qatar is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Malayalee Executive Chef to join our team. As a leading hospitality establishment, we strive to provide our guests with exceptional service and an unforgettable dining experience. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and team management. Your role will be essential in ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our guests. This is a full-time position that requires someone with flexible availability as you will be expected to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Create innovative menus that cater to the tastes of our diverse clientele

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen including food preparation and cooking

Manage inventory and ensure proper stock levels are maintained

Train and develop kitchen staff in culinary techniques and procedures

Ensure all dishes are prepared according to company standards and recipes

Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times

Collaborate with other departments such as front-of-house staff to ensure a smooth dining experience for guests

Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times

Requirements

Must be proficient in Malayalam language (written and spoken)

Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a 5-star hotel or fine dining restaurant setting

Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine with a focus on Malayalee dishes

Strong leadership skills with experience in managing a team

Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure

Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field

Experience working in international settings

Ability to speak multiple languages

Qatar residency or valid work permit
