Engineering & Technology Junior Expert Engineer

Job Description

• Gains (practical) experience through work shadowing with technical experts carrying out testing and inspection services, according to a development plan.
• Learns to conduct assessments.
• Learns to create opinion / expert statements.
• Gains competency in decision making, communication and conflict resolution.
• Conducts basic tasks according to instructions and guidance.
• Learns essential skills and develops the capacity to apply them to other situations.
• Understands the internal processes and requirements within the assigned business / organisation.
• Other duties as assigned.

Experience & Further Qualifications

a. Higher National Diploma (HND) or Diploma or higher educational qualification in engineering in the respective engineering discipline such as Civil, Mechanical, Metallurgy, Electrical, Instrumentation, Telecommunication or an approved equivalent discipline as required based on the scope of work.

b. Be conversant with the relevant and applicable International Codes and Standards.

c. Have a proven continuous working period of at least three years with the assigned TPIA unless waived by PED on a case-by-case basis.

d. Maintain relevant valid competency, qualification, and experience certificates.

e. Have 10 years of experience in QA / QC, Inspection and Testing activities for the relevant discipline in Fabrication, Manufacturing and Construction in Oil and Gas or Petrochemical Industry as required by the scope of work.
