Refrigeration Technician

Refrigeration Technician Job Location Doha Qatar Key Responsibilities Inspect diagnose and repair refrigeration systems including walkin freezers cold rooms chillers and minibar units Perform routine maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration systems to ensure operational efficiency Troubleshoot system malfunctions and replace defective components such as compressors motors thermostats and fan motors Maintain logs of all repairs maintenance schedules and refrigerant usage per environmental regulations Install new refrigeration systems as required in kitchens restaurants and storage areas Monitor and maintain the proper operation of hotel airconditioning units Assist in energy conservation programs by maintaining system performance and recommending efficiency improvements Follow all hotel safety and sanitation policies and procedures Respond promptly to guest and departmental maintenance requests Coordinate with external contractors for major repairs when necessary Qualifications Diploma or technical certification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or a related field Minimum 2 3 years of experience in a similar role preferably in the hospitality industry Indepth knowledge of commercial refrigeration systems and HVAC equipment EPA certification or equivalent for handling refrigerants if required by local laws Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills Good communication skills and ability to work in a teamoriented environment Willingness to work shifts weekends and oncall rotations as needed
