Head of Engineering

Job Purpose Provides Utilities Offsites desalination waste management steam cooling water IA N2 flare and fuel gas systems and Process Engineering knowledge design quality assurance leadership and expertise for the EPC phase of a large scale LNG facility Directs the preparation and stewardship of Utilities and Process Engineering advices and recommends design procedures processes deliverables and alternative studies as required to optimize project delivery Support Construction preCommissioning and Commissioning activities within the EPC 1 facilities Job is predominantly Utilities and Offsites focused Key Job Accountabilities Manages EPC Contractors Utilities Offsites and Process Engineering activities including adherence with project objectives requirements specifications standards procedures execution plans and design verification processes Provides leadership to drive decisions for multidiscipline issues to progress the execution of the project Responsible for overseeing EPC delivery of all aspects of detailed design equipment technical and execution definition including procurement installation testing and commissioning of the utility and offsite systems Works closely with members of engineering team and aligns with the Engineering Manager on engineering needs objectives and requirements Works closely with the startup organization to ensure plans are aligned to ensure a smooth transition to the startup organization Accountable for ensuring execution of work is technically aligned and in compliance with client Operations Policies Standards of Business Conduct and client Project Management System Ensures delivery full compliance with project documents and through effective collaborations and interfaces ensures ss design considers the full production life cycle Responsible for knowledge of and sharing previous lessons learned capturing and communicating current lessons learned to support review teams and future projects
