Senior Accountant

Job Summary A detail-oriented Senior Accountant to conduct day-to-day accounting operations and ensure strict adherence to internal policies and IFRS standards and assist in the budgeting and forecasting process. This role requires strong analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee general ledger activities and reconciliations

Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements

Ensure compliance with IFRS and local tax laws

Lead month-end and year-end closing processes

Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis

Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Accounting

5-7 years of accounting experience preferably in trading and contracting industries

Analytical skills and attention to detail

Fluent in English / Arabic
