Electrical Draughtsman

Role Description This is a full‑time on‑site role for an Electrical Draughtsman located in Doha, Qatar. The Electrical Draughtsman will be responsible for creating detailed electrical plans, technical drawings, and designs. The role involves collaborating with engineers to ensure accurate electrical designs, preparing documentation, and making necessary revisions to plans. The draughtsman will also assist in the coordination of electrical projects and ensure that designs meet industry standards and client specifications.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP drafting (electrical systems).

Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and preparation of lighting, power, and low‑current system drawings.

Capable of coordinating with other disciplines and site engineers.

Experience with as‑built and shop drawing preparation.

Salary Range : QAR 3,000 – 4,000

Qualifications

Proficiency in Electrical Design and Electrical Plans

Strong understanding of Electricity and Electrical Engineering principles

Skilled in Technical Drawing and documentation

Attention to detail and accuracy in creating and revising electrical plans

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team of engineers

Relevant qualifications or certifications in Electrical Engineering or related fields

Experience in construction or related industries is a plus
