Description

ELV Draftsman

Design & Drafting :

1. Prepare AutoCAD / Revit / BIM-based drawings for ELV systems (CCTV, ACS, SMATV, SCS, etc.).

2. Develop single-line diagrams (SLD), layout plans, riser diagrams, and termination details.

3. Ensure designs comply with local regulations, client specifications, and international standards (TIA / EIA, BICSI, NFPA, etc.).

Coordination & Collaboration :

1. Work closely with ELV Engineers, Architects, MEP teams, and contractors to integrate ELV systems into overall project designs.

2. Assist in design reviews, material take-offs (MTO), and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) preparation.

Documentation & Compliance :

1. Maintain accurate as-built drawings and update design changes as required.

2. Ensure adherence to ISO, QMS, and company drafting standards.

Technical Support :

1. Provide support during site surveys, installation, and commissioning phases.

2. Resolve design conflicts and suggest cost-effective solutions.

Information

Desired Skills & Experience

Experience Range :

Minimum 5 years in ELV drafting, preferably in the Gulf / Middle East region

Project Experience :

Worked on residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects

Experience with large-scale projects or high-rise buildings is advantageous

Site Coordination (Optional but Advantageous) :

Familiarity with site conditions and installation practices
