Senior Planning Engineer

The Senior Planning Engineer will develop monitor and update project schedules ensuring timely and costeffective delivery of oil gas projects in accordance with project scope and client requirements Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project Monitor project progress and analyze variances against baseline schedules Identify critical activities and potential delays providing mitigation strategies Coordinate with project teams contractors and stakeholders to gather progress updates Support earned value analysis and reporting Facilitate schedule meetings and progress reviews Ensure that project schedules align with contractual obligations and project milestones Assist in change management and impact analysis Requirements Approximately 15 years of experience in project planning within the oil and gas industry Extensive knowledge of project scheduling tools like Primavera P6 Strong understanding of Oil Gas project phases including engineering procurement and construction Excellent analytical communication and coordination skills Bachelor s degree in Engineering Project Management or related field PMP or other project management certifications are a plus
