Airport Security Operations Centre Manager Responsibilities

Lead the Airport Security Operations Centre (ASOC) to provide the day‑to‑day command and control of all safety‑related activities, technologies, and coordination of security actions during operational emergencies. Manage and supervise ASOC staff, including Protection Duty Managers, Supervisors, and Officers, in a 24 / 7 operation to maintain high security standards and ensure a positive passenger experience. Develop and implement an organized release model within the ASOC with ongoing review and evaluation of outcomes and responsibilities to ensure operational efficiency. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Ensure that electronic permits (E‑permits) are processed daily. Conduct routine operational audits of CCTV and Access Control Equipment. Demonstrate supervisory abilities : delegate work, provide clear direction, manage processes, and mentor / train staff to develop capabilities. Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 6 years of occupational experience. Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with ability to mentor and develop staff. Excellent communication and coordination capabilities with internal and external stakeholders. Experience in process improvement and ability to implement an organized release model within ASOC. Proven ability to perform routine security audits (CCTV and Access Control Systems). Ability to train and develop staff skills and capabilities. Job Details
