Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for oil & gas projects.
• Monitor project costs, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar Energy standards, local laws, and corporate financial policies.
• Support contract review, tender evaluation, and commercial negotiations.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and funding requirements for projects.
• Handle banking operations, including opening, amending, and closing Letters of Credit (LC), guarantees, and other bank instruments.
• Liaise with banks for project financing, LC transactions, and corporate banking services.
• Develop, implement, and improve financial processes, controls, and reporting tools.
• Coordinate with project managers, operations, procurement, and external auditors.
• Provide strategic financial advice to enhance profitability and project performance.
• Mentor and manage the finance team, ensuring high performance and development.

Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. CPA/ACCA/CMA preferred.
• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in oil & gas project finance.
• Strong knowledge of project accounting, budgeting, cost control, financial reporting, and banking operations.
