Key roles & responsibilities
- Conduct and assist with the development of risk assessments and their workplace implementation ensuring all safety measures are known for offshore construction operations.
- Implement, monitor, and enforce compliance of the developed HSE plan, policies, and procedures.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and marine vessel crews to ensure coordination between the differing operations to ensure all safety concerns are raised and mitigated.
- Participate in incidents investigation, follow up and monitor close out actions.
- Assist in the implementation of client workplace safety, environmental and hygiene management programs (Campaigns, inspection, tour).
- Carry out audits of PTW system and site inspections.
- Conduct Tool-Box-Talks and HSE meetings periodically as per work program
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections and activities on site.
- Compile and submit report of safety observations daily
- Maintain detailed inventory and certification of safety equipment
- Post all safety posters, bulletin, alert, and other safety communication as required and ensure content is shared among offshore teams.
Education, Professional Qualification & Experience :
Bachelors degree in [relevant field] or equivalent experience.Certifications, e.g., NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE certification.Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role (Familiar with Offshore Construction Projects, Shutdowns, Fabrication, Maintenance, Greenfield and Brownfield)Language Skills :
Business Fluent in English both written and spoken is requiredArabic a plusAdditional Requirements :
Strong communication, influencing and interpersonal skillsStrong passion for HSE, drive to build and improve HSE cultureWillingness to travel and work offshore.Valid certifications such as First Aid / CPR, BOSIET, H2S Training, and ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001. &Proficient in the use of Microsoft office packages
