The Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients and driving revenue growth.

Responsibilities :

  • Sales, communication, negotiation, marketing, data analysis and project management.
  • Attracting new clients by innovating and overseeing the sales process for the business.
  • Working with senior team members to identify and manage company risks that might prevent growth.
  • Identifying and researching opportunities that come up in new and existing markets.
  • Preparing and delivering pitches and presentations to potential new clients.
  • Combining efforts and fostering a collaborative environment within the business as a whole.
  • Creating positive, long-lasting relationships with current and potential clients.
  • Running outbound campaigns (phone calls, emails, etc.) and travelling to visit potential clients to create sales opportunities.
  • Developing and growing long-term relationships with customers.
  • Persuading clients that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery.
  • Ensuring excellent customer service through regular client follow up.
  • Developing rapport with key decision makers.
  • Translating proposals into ready-to-sign contracts.
  • Owning the sales lifecycle from prospecting to implementation.
  • Managing virtual and in-person sales meetings.
  • Negotiating tender and contract terms to meet both client and company needs.
  • Administering client accounts.
  • Preparing reports for management.
  • Meeting regular sales targets.
  • Recording and maintaining clients contact data.
  • Supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events.

Minimum Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in electrical / Telecom Engineering and preferably with a Post graduate degree in Marketing / Sales.
  • Fluent in Arabic & English.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the telecommunications industry required.
  • Valid Qatar driving license.
  • Good experience in liaison, product knowledge, AutoCAD, Microsoft office & presentation (soft skills).
  • Oil and Gas Experience is Mandatory
  • A Passion for sales and interacting with customers to meet their needs. Excellent written and oral communications with good presentation skills. Highly organized and punctual. The ability to unearth, analyze and document client requirements.
  • Extensive experience in enterprise application deployment architectures, environments and concerns scalability, performance, availability, reliability, security etc.
  • Accountability and a strong customer service ethos are essential prerequisites for this critical role.
  • An ability to achieve results while operating independently with minimal guidance is a must.

  • Good handle on selling approaches, documentation and presentation of new technical concepts effectively to core Engineers and Engineering Management alike.
