Salary - 20000 to 28000 + benefits

What You'll Do :

An IBM Db2 12 for z / OS System administrator is an individual who have significant experience as a DBA and extensive knowledge of Db2 z / OS, up to and including Db2 12 for zOS. This individual is capable of performing intermediate to advanced tasks related to database design and implementation, operation and recovery, security and auditing, distributed connectivity, performance, installation and migration / upgrades specific to the z / OS operating system.

• DB2 for zOS System installation, Upgrade & maintenance
• DB2 for zOS System tailoring and customization
• DB2 for zOS System Performance Monitoring and tuning
• DB2 for zOS System problems solving
• DB2 for zOS Environments support (Test, Quality, Production, Airport)
• DB2 for zOS System and database security management
• DB2 for zOS System backup, recovery
• DB2 for zOS utilities installation & maintenance
• DB2 for zOS system Operations support
• DB2 for zOS Automation & Disaster Recovery support
• Info sphere for zOS System(Q replication) installation , maintenance, customization, monitoring, tuning and problem solving
• Info sphere for zOS (Q replication) queue maps, subscriptions implementation and support
• IBM CDC replication software administration, maintenance, monitoring, operational support
• DBR (Data base Recovery Expert ) systems installation, maintenance & support
• DBR Enterprise backup and recovery support
• Support and share in Disaster Recovery tests
• Data base backup procedures preparation and support (daily / monthly / yearly)
• Data base monitoring Tools installation & maintenance
• Data base monitoring Tools usage to monitor data base performance , trouble shooting
• Data base / Applications performance monitoring and tuning
• Data base administration & Query tools installation, maintenance
• Data base administrations & Query tools usage
• Data base design , definition , implementation & maintenance
• Support Developer’s needs & requirements from data bases
• Support Quality assurance team

What We’re Looking For :
