Overview
We are looking for a Construction Lead - Offshore Brownfield for one of our clients with the following details :

Contract Duration : 36 Months
Location : Doha Qatar Offshore
Qualifications & Experience Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Sciences or Engineering.
- Offshore survival certificate and the ability to pass an offshore medical evaluation. OPITO certification is considered a plus.
- 8 years experience with large projects in construction-related disciplines (e.g., construction, installation, fabrication, execution, completion, hook-up, etc.) in the Oil & Gas Industry, including 1 year of supervisory experience or oversight of service / vendor personnel.
- Extensive experience with brownfield project execution from both Contractor and Client perspectives, with strong leadership qualities.
- Worldwide experience with contractors involved in offshore projects; experience from a Client’s Completion philosophy is an advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on teamwork and the ability to interact within a PMT.
- Application and in-depth knowledge of stakeholder specifications and a working knowledge of Industry standards.
- High proficiency in written and spoken English, Computer literacy in professional office applications and some technical applications.
- Ability to work on or be based on an offshore platform or vessel.
Activities
Manages and ensures successful execution of offshore brownfield project components to meet prioritized objectives (Safety, Quality, Cost, Schedule, etc.).Provides offshore brownfield construction technical and execution expertise to support development of project execution schedules, scope of work, constructability, and installability methods and strategies.Develops offshore logistics methods, strategies, and plans for brownfield execution, including offshore accommodation and POB management, and marine operations strategies (e.g., Jack-Up Barges, DP Accommodation Vessels, Supply Vessels).Coordinates and participates in project reviews and workshops, IPRs, CERs, and SDMS Gate Reviews. Participates in the development of the Project Plan, SHE Plan, and Shutdown Plans. Manages readiness reviews and approvals for major offshore activities including site mobilization (e.g., JUB mobilization and setup), pre-shutdown, shutdown, and re-starts.Supports and manages the EPC Procurement Strategies, drives construction execution planning, including incorporation of work packaging principles, and communicates project priorities to pre-fabrication yard teams for brownfield and tie-in scopes.Drives and leads CWA, CWP development, strategies, workpack preparation, reviews and approvals; ensures proper project controls are implemented and functioning; takes timely corrective action and follows through to completion.Ensures interfaces (engineering, other construction / fabrication sites, commissioning / startup, operations, etc.) are properly managed for brownfield and tie-in scopes.Engages with Operations, Marine and Logistics organizations to solicit input, provide feedback, and seek alignment with brownfield construction execution plans as needed.Knowledge-expert on operations and marine practices and procedures related to brownfield construction (e.g., Work Management System, Permit-to-Work, SIMOPS, Marine Operations Manual, Shutdown Management System).As needed, may be assigned relief for the Mechanical Completions Lead.#J-18808-Ljbffr
