Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer

Alfardan Properties currently has a vacancy for a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer Job Responsibilities Implement strategic plans for the organizations IT infrastructure in alignment with business goals and objectives Assess current infrastructure capabilities identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions to optimize performance and efficiency Oversee the daytoday operations of the IT infrastructure ensuring availability reliability and performance meet or exceed service level agreements SLAs Conduct regular assessments and audits of infrastructure components identifying and addressing any issues or vulnerabilities Implement proactive monitoring and maintenance practices to prevent downtime and minimize disruptions to business operations Coordinate and execute infrastructure projects including network upgrades server migrations and data center expansions Define project scope objectives timelines and resource requirements and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to assess project requirements mitigate risks and resolve technical challenges Manage relationships with thirdparty vendors and service providers Negotiate contracts and service level agreements SLAs to ensure costeffective and highquality services Maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for IT infrastructure Conduct regular testing and updates to ensure preparation for potential disruptions Enforce security policies procedures and controls to protect the organizations infrastructure assets and data Conduct regular security assessments vulnerability scans and penetration tests to identify and mitigate potential risks Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements industry standards and best practices related to infrastructure security and data privacy Experience Knowledge Requirements Experience with switching VLANS ACLs Experience with routers firewalls and other network devices e g Cisco PA Juniper etc Experience with wireless networking standards technologies e g WiFi 6 WPA3 Experience of cloud services and networking in cloud environments AWS Azure Google Cloud Technical awareness in IP phone systems e g Cisco Avaia Experience with data center management Experience with active directory management Experience with HyperV VMware Experience with servers HW OS management
