Job Title Senior Application Specialist Location Qatar Employment Type FullTime The Senior Application Specialist is responsible for the implementation support maintenance and optimization of enterprise applications The role involves collaborating with business units to identify technology needs ensuring system integrity and delivering endtoend application solutions The specialist will also play a key role in managing system upgrades integrating thirdparty tools and enhancing user experience Lead the deployment configuration and administration of enterprise and custombuilt applications Provide Level 2 3 technical support and troubleshooting for applicationrelated incidents and service requests Analyze and document business requirements and translate them into technical specifications Collaborate with stakeholders to improve application functionality and performance Manage application lifecycle including version upgrades patch management and decommissioning Conduct regular audits to ensure application compliance data integrity and security standards Coordinate with vendors and thirdparty service providers for technical support and enhancements Develop and maintain documentation including user manuals process workflows and technical guides Train endusers and support staff on application usage and best practices Monitor application performance metrics and propose improvements Participate in business continuity and disaster recovery planning related to applications Ensure alignment with IT policies standards and governance practices Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field Minimum 5 7 years of experience in application support or implementation preferably in a senior or lead role Strong knowledge of ERP systems e g SAP Oracle Microsoft Dynamics and or industryspecific applications Experience with databases SQL Oracle APIs scripting and system integrations Familiarity with ITIL framework and ticketing systems e g ServiceNow JIRA Solid understanding of software development lifecycle SDLC and Agile methodologies Strong analytical and problemsolving skills Excellent verbal and written communication Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Proactive mindset with a customer service orientation Leadership qualities and experience mentoring junior staff Detailoriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement Relevant certifications e g ITIL Microsoft Certified Azure Oracle Certified Specialist Experience in cloudbased application environments Prior experience in a similar industry or domain e g healthcare logistics manufacturing
