Description

Nature & Scope of Positions

Assist QU-Facility Management staff and contractors with maintaining Building Management System and DDC / SCADA systems including Siemens, Honeywell, Schneider BMS and other control software interfaces.
Provides technical guidance and support including set-up, verification, operation, and troubleshooting complex building automation and control systems.
Carryout new sensor, DDC or actuator installation, cabling and other required works.
Familiar with instrumentation and calibration techniques.
Provides recommendations on equipment / systems operation and modification for energy conservation, efficiency, and reliability. Other reasonable duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

Technical Training Course Certificate ( Full Time 1-1.5 years ) in Electrical / Instrumentation / Electronics / Communication from recognised Govt. Institutes / or accredited colleges / or national Technical Course Certification Authority like ITI, TESDA, NVQ etc.

Minimum of 3 years (1.5 years GCC) of building electromechanical equipment maintenance experience in Education Institute / Hospital / Residential Complex with a construction Services / facility management organization.

Minimum three (3) years’ experience in the installation and implementation of DDC building control systems including programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, operation and maintenance.

Must possess the technical knowledge to troubleshoot complex building automation systems. Candidate must also have excellent communication skills and proficient use of Microsoft Office applications.
