Overview Petroleum Engineer

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Petroleum Engineer to join our team in Ar-Ruwais, Qatar. As a Petroleum Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing processes and techniques to extract oil and gas from underground reservoirs. This is a full-time position with urgent hiring needs.

Responsibilities

Conduct research, analyze data, and plan and supervise the drilling of oil and gas wells

Identify potential drilling sites, estimate reserves, and develop production plans

Design equipment and processes for extracting oil and gas from reservoirs

Monitor well production rates, analyze data, and make necessary adjustments to optimize production

Work with geologists to determine the best locations for well placement

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental laws

Collaborate with other engineers to develop new drilling methods or technologies

Keep detailed records of all operations and production data

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field

Minimum of 3 years of experience in petroleum engineering or related field

Strong understanding of drilling techniques, production methods, and reservoir analysis

Proficient in computer software programs used in the industry such as Petra, Eclipse, or Petrel

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data

Effective communication skills in English (ability to speak Hindi is a plus)

Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
