This is anexciting and new role asLead Nurse Manager for Nursing Operationswithin the Qatar AirwaysMedical Division. As the lead Nurse youwill be responsible for theclinical professional and managerialleadership for all nurses andservices within thedivision.

Serviceswithinthe division include the clinical specialties of AeromedicalPrimaryHealth Care Occupational Health and Health &LifestylePerformance which are provided across a range offacilities based inDohaQatar.

The divisioncurrently provides theabove services to Qatar Airways employeesand has future plans toexpand new services & facilities inthe specialties ofprimary health occupational health and healthand lifestyleperformance to become the provider of choice for allQatarAirwaysemployees.

Withthis in mind we arelooking for an experienced nurse leader who notonly can lead andmanage nursing staff but who is committed toensuring patientsreceive compassionate quality care by meetingsafety quality andprofessional standards highlighted in thenursing regulations andscope of practice of the State of Qatar andwho has the enthusiasmand energy to develop new services forthefuture.

Accountabilities :

• Lead the developmentof the professionalnursing strategy in collaboration with GMDexecutive team ensuringthat the nursing strategy supports themission and objectives of theoverall MedicalService.
• Provide expert adviceto the linemanager on professional nursing and related operationalmatters andcontribute to the implementation of the nursing and GMDstrategicvision.
• Establish and maintainrelationshipswith stakeholders ensuring effective communicationwithin area ofresponsibility and within nursing teams acting as arole model forclinical leadership clinical engagement andpatientadvocacy.
• Responsible for developingatransparent and collaborative communication strategy andstructurefor the nursing teams ensuring regular monthly updatesandcommunication briefs to teams.
• Developincollaboration with the business procurement teams systemsandprocesses for the centralized ordering of clinicalequipmentsupplies and services in line with GMDprocurementpolicy.
• Provide leadership asrequired ofclinical projects particularly those relating toimprovement ofcare pathways and implementation of best practice toensureenhancement of the patientsexperience.
• Accountable for the overallclinical and operational leadership ofnursing services across GMDthat includes developing directing andassuring the delivery ofcosteffective quality nursing care forallpatients.
