Senior Systems Engineer

Job Summary : The incumbent goal is to lead system engineering efforts, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.

Responsibilities

Design & implement scalable, secure, and reliable server and storage architectures aligned with business objectives
Develop and maintain comprehensive system architecture diagrams, documentation & standards
Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain server and storage uptime, performing routine audits, security checks & proactive maintenance
Develop & implement automated monitoring tools and processes to minimize downtime
Design & implement virtualization solutions (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) ensuring seamless integration
Optimize virtualized environments for performance, scalability, and resource utilization
Implement robust system security measures (access controls, encryption) safeguarding against cyber threats and data breaches

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field

Minimum 7 years in system engineering preferably in transportation or logistics industries

System architecture and design, Virtualization, and cloud computing, Troubleshooting and problem-solving

Any relevant certification or training such as :

CompTIA Server+ or VMware VCP, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), ITIL Foundation or equivalent
