Laboratory Technologist

Qualifications Experience & Skills Education (Essential)

Bachelors Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent.

Completion of a formal training program in Laboratory Technology.

Licensed / Eligible for license with the Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP).

Valid CPR Certification.

Education (Preferred) Experience using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).

Knowledge of accreditation standards such as ISO 15189, JCI or equivalent.

Experience Minimum 7 years of relevant laboratory experience in a clinical or hospital setting.

Skills & Competencies Strong technical knowledge across multiple laboratory disciplines.

Proficiency in operating and maintaining analytical laboratory instruments.

Understanding of quality control and assurance principles.

Excellent analytical problem‑solving and organizational skills.

Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

High level of accuracy, integrity and attention to detail.
