Job Objective
To ensure that guest corridors, service areas, restaurants, lobbies, back of the house, function rooms and any associated areas are maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness to the policies and standards of the club.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists the Assistant Housekeeping Manager in leading the housekeeping team
- Supervises the implementation of housekeeping standards and procedures in relation to bathroom service, cleaning service, linen maintenance and others
- Recommend and implement changes to these standards and training needs on an ongoing basis.
- Maintain a current and thorough knowledge of all housekeeping systems.
- Does inventories and assists the Assistant Manager with additional projects for the betterment of the Department.
- Conducts internal training for staff in coordination with Assistant Housekeeping Manager.
- Help the staff in maintaining the standard cleanliness. Assigned task and inspect work to ensure it’s up to standard
- Close supervision of Housekeeping staff by conducting thorough inspection of all areas, cleaning equipment, uniforms and others
- Maintain proper grooming standards of himself and the staff.
- Coordinates with cross-function departments for the overall status of rooms, public areas, among others.
- Facilitate requisition of all required stocks for the department to be approved by Head of Department
- Act as a Reliever in lieu of the Assistant Housekeeping Manager, prepares roster for the payroll, prepares overtime and make replenishment for HK supplies
- Perform other duties that may be assigned by Head of Department or Assistant HOD from time to time.
- Stimulate and encourage a general awareness of Health and Safety in relation to all tasks and activities undertaken in the department.
- Use correct cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces, according to OSHA regulations
- Perform Other Duties as assigned
