Workshop Controller - Automotive - Qatar

A leading provider of aerial work platforms (AWPs) and mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs) in the Middle East and Asia is looking for a skilled Workshop controller.

The Controller role is one of the busiest and most pressurized roles. This role consists of handing out workto Technicians to ensure smooth running of the workshop. The role holder will also liaise with the Service Department to be on hand to answer any queries from the Workshop Manager. The role is responsible for ensuring all incoming work is planned then managing the time and resources. The Workshop Controller assigns technicians to tasks ensuring productivity is maximized and that deadlines are adhered to. As a controller, the incumbent is responsible for performance management and development of the team.

Tasks and Responsibilities :

• To assist management in implementing and maintaining effective processes to achieve the highest possible customer satisfaction levels.
• Experience with creating parameters for job activities / “Standard Repair / Operating Time” for jobs to be done.
• To distribute and control the issue of work to the Technicians to maximise quality and overall efficiency by pushing work through the workshop and
