Project Manager for Cement Plant Projects

Parsons Brinckerhoff has been appointed the program management consultant for the construction of more than 200 local roads and drainage projects in Qatar. The project is part of a strategy to develop roads, drainage, and infrastructure networks throughout the country. Parsons Brinckerhoff will manage and coordinate all interfaces with the client and stakeholders and will oversee the general engineering consultants for each of the five geographic zones comprising Qatar. As such, we have a requirement for an experienced Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and manage the concept planning, development, and implementation phases of the nominated road infrastructure project / s to ensure completion in accordance with required timeframes, cost, quality, and service standards. They will be responsible for the delivery of key infrastructure projects.

Specific Duties :

• Responsible for the delivery of our commission obligations and internal project performance
• Establish effective communications across the project delivery, client, and stakeholder teams
• Problem solving and decision making
• Team Leadership, resource management, and team allocation
• Controlling the internal and external aspects of projects across a range of contractual agreements
• Mentoring less experienced colleagues on the project
• Providing a high-quality service delivery team
• Monitor and report on project progress against predetermined time, cost, and quality specifications
• Lead and manage the project team, consultants, and contractors to ensure all members are appropriately skilled
