We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Humanities Teacher to join our esteemed educational institution in Qatar. Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Humanities lessons that cater to a diverse range of student abilities and learning styles.
  • Develop and implement a curriculum that aligns with educational standards and promotes critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, projects, and examinations, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and mutual respect.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student development and address individual learning needs.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities, school events, and professional development opportunities to contribute to the school community.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance, ensuring compliance with school policies and procedures.

    • Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Humanities, Education, or a related field (British / UK Qualified Only) .
  • A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience teaching Humanities at the secondary school level.
  • Strong knowledge of Humanities subjects, including History, Geography, and Social Studies.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Experience working in an international or multicultural setting is an advantage.

    • Day-to-Day

  • Deliver engaging and interactive Humanities lessons to students.
  • Monitor and support student progress, addressing individual learning needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement cross-curricular activities.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.
  • Maintain a well-organized and resourceful classroom environment.
