Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Demi Chef De Partie to join our dynamic culinary team in Doha, Qatar. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a crucial role in creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests while contributing to our innovative and customer-focused approach to cuisine.
- Manage and oversee a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring high-quality dish preparation and timely delivery
- Collaborate with the Chef de Partie and other kitchen staff to create and execute menu items
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards and hygiene regulations
- Assist in the development of new recipes and menu items, showcasing creativity and culinary expertise
- Ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients to minimize waste and maintain freshness
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment
- Participate in regular kitchen meetings to discuss menu changes, special events, and operational improvements
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Assist in inventory management and ordering of supplies for your section
- Adapt to changing priorities and maintain composure during busy service periods
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or in a similar role within a dynamic kitchen teamCulinary degree or equivalent professional experience in the fieldDemonstrated knowledge of various cooking techniques and food preparation methodsStrong understanding of food safety principles and current health and safety regulationsCreativity and passion for developing innovative dishes while maintaining brand standardsExcellent attention to detail and consistency in food presentation and qualityStrong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work in a team environmentAbility to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen settingPhysical stamina to stand for extended periods and work in a high-pressure environmentFlexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysFood safety certification (e.g., ServSafe) preferredProficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plusPassion for hospitality and creating memorable dining experiences for guestsWillingness to embrace new ideas and contribute to a positive, collaborative kitchen cultureAdditional Information
