Mechanical Technical Engineer

Job Summary The Mechanical Technical Engineer supervises and follow up mechanical draftsmen work schedule verify and check mechanical shop drawings and technical submittals Job Responsibilities 1 Ensure the discipline shop drawings are prepared in accordance with the relevant design drawings specifications details in coordination with all other disciplines Ensure that the drawings submission schedule efficiently within the target schedule in the best quality Ensure the shop drawings are executed in compliance with local authorities that has jurisdiction overthe discipline scope of work i e Health and Safety and all standards applicable to the project such asQCS2014 and the project specifications Maintain adherence to the relevant Companys policies and procedures Ensure the satisfaction of the client consultant and main contractor and project manager CMalways Guide the technical engineers draftsmen through the work activities management process throughoutthe duration of the project engineering phase Assign specific targets to the various work activities Plan and allocate responsibilities to team members Review and approve Mechanical shop drawings before submission Review and approve Mechanical design calculations before submission Review and signoff Mechanical material technical submittal before issuance to consultant Review and approve method statements in compliance with project specifications authorities etc Liaise with other technical departments architect structural etc for the relevant reviews approvals etc
