Facility Manager

Overview

The Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, safety, security, and overall functionality of the company’s physical premises. This includes managing building systems, coordinating repairs and maintenance, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and supporting efficient facility operations. The Facility Manager ensures that the work environment is safe, well-maintained, and conducive to productivity. What You’ll Get Your Hands On

Oversee the day-to-day operations of company facilities (Accommodation) to ensure they are safe, well-maintained, and fully functional. Manage maintenance staff and contractors for tasks such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, cleaning, and security services. Schedule and supervise regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations. Manage budgets related to facilities maintenance and operations, including negotiating contracts with vendors and service providers. Monitor and control utility usage to optimize energy efficiency. Coordinate office relocations, space planning, and furniture / equipment setup as needed. Maintain records of building maintenance, warranties, inspections, and asset inventory. Implement and enforce facility-related policies and procedures. Respond to facility-related emergencies or urgent issues quickly and professionally. Support workplace health and safety initiatives, including fire drills and emergency evacuation plans. The Magic You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (optional but preferred). Proven experience (3–5+ years) in facility or property management. Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and safety regulations. Excellent organizational and leadership skills. Ability to manage budgets and negotiate with vendors and contractors. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Proficiency with facilities management software and tools. Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies outside regular hours, if needed. Bonus Points If You Have

Professional certifications in Facility Management Professional or CFM Certified Facility Manager. Experience in managing large or multi-site facilities. Knowledge of sustainability and green building practices. Inside Snoonu’s Universe
