Linum Consult’s client is a major organisation operating out of Qatar. Due to continued growth, they are currently seeking a Workshop Maintenance Planner to join their team in Doha.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Developing and implementing comprehensive maintenance plans and schedules for a fleet of vehicles
- Leading the planning and scheduling of all workshop maintenance and repair activities, balancing fleet performance with operational requirements
- Ensuring all maintenance tasks are prioritised effectively and completed within agreed timelines
- Tracking and reporting KPIs such as vehicle downtime, repair costs and maintenance backlog
- Analysing performance data, identifying trends, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs
- Preparing and maintaining detailed reports on maintenance performance, budgets, and KPIs for senior management review
- Managing and supervising the workshop planning team, ensuring effective workload distribution, and high-performance standards
PROFILE
At least a Diploma qualification in a relevant field, such as Engineering, Logistics, or Operations ManagementMinimum of 5 years’ experience in a planning or logistics role, preferably in a maintenance or transportation environmentCertification or training such as Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP), Lean Six Sigma Certification, and / or Maintenance & Repair Management CertificationExcellent planning and coordination skills, able to analyse data and make reports, and strong process improvement and implementation skillsFluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Any Arabic language skills would be an advantage
