The position covers maintenance work that may involve electrical, plumbing or painting tasks, with opportunities to develop skills across maintenance areas. You will work in a small but efficient team, handling daily tasks inside and outside hotel rooms, in guest and public areas, and within the F&B environment. Your quick, reliable work will help ensure smooth operations. Responsibilities

Attend to all mechanical, electrical and plumbing repairs and maintenance of hotel facilities, including the building structure, fixtures & fittings, plant and related equipment, in accordance with energy conservation, preventative and reactive maintenance practices. Complete weekly maintenance schedule and related tasks. Carry out regular maintenance inspections of the building, plant and equipment as per the daily checklist. Assist with preventative maintenance of fire protection systems, ensuring items are inspected as scheduled and that firefighting and safety features operate at peak efficiency. Assist with repairs and maintenance of staff accommodation when needed. Monitor inventory in stores and ensure adequate stock of materials. Keep accurate, up-to-date records of stocks and equipment. Ensure the cleanliness and safety of equipment and tools in all hotel engineering areas, including plant and electrical distribution rooms and storerooms. Support the maintenance supervisor with contractor management, including delivery of materials and equipment and oversight of maintenance repairs. Build good relationships with contractors. Requirements

Mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems knowledge. Fire protection systems knowledge. Health and Safety regulations and good practices. Working knowledge of planned and reactive maintenance principles. Excellent English communication skills. Ability to keep accurate records of maintenance activities and prepare reports. Basic knowledge of building and services maintenance principles. Swimming pools knowledge is ideal. F&B Outlets experience. Air conditioning and ventilation systems. Experience

2+ years’ experience in general maintenance, preferably within a hotel / resort environment. Formal trade qualifications in Mechanical, Electrical or Plumbing. Computer literacy. Benefits
