We are looking for a strong Project Logistics Pricing Specialist with extensive experience in the freight forwarding industry for our Project Logistics Pricing specialist role in Doha.
Your Role
The Pricing Specialist is responsible for completing assigned pricing activities within the target timelines set in Project Logistics guidelines. To ensure accurate pricing, as per the client's scope of services, with the minimum required margin applied, covering all service / supplier costs to allow the most profitable scenario for Project Logistics.
Your Responsibilities
- Utilization of all approved pricing tools and portals available to search for carriers and cost
- Working in a structured team environment based on competencies of modes of transport and cargo type
- Cross-train in all functions of the pricing team by mode of transport and cargo type
- Ensure that all costing for services are as per the service level agreement and scope of work ordered
- Responsible for having a strong sense of financial acumen for Project Logistics
- Communicating clear scope of services requested to service providers when requesting pricing and options
- Ensure you select the best service option maximizing profitability while delivering the clients expectations
- Ensure the utilization of minimum selling margin while providing pricing
- Foster a can-do spirit to build a solution-orientated attitude
- Monitor your individual KPI's outlined by the management team
